“Tidy house, tidy mind”. I really do relate to this quote. I find the state of our home really does impact on my mood and my anxiety. Not only do I find that tidying and cleaning helps with this, I also enjoy it but I don’t always have the time to do a thorough sort out of our belongings. So when I received an email through Bournemouth Bloggers for a collaboration with Romana who is a Marie Kondo certified consultant and the owner of Purer Living, I jumped at the chance.
I’m sure most of you will have heard of Marie Kondo or may have seen her Netflix show Tidying Up With Marie Kondo or may have read her books, she is the creater of the KonMari method. For those of you who don’t know much about the Kon Mari method, it very much focuses on tidying by category rather than by room. This begins with clothes, moves onto books, then papers, followed by miscellaneous items and finally moving onto sentimental items.
